Lab flasks are deliberately designed to take direct heat, resist thermal breakage, and allow its contents to be carefully swirled or mixed without spilling the solution inside. Flat bottom flasks are prefect for magnetic stirrers and hot plates. Round bottom flasks are great for distillation equipment and in the process of using evaporation to separate various cannabinoids and solvents.
Always be sure to fasten any clamps used securely, being careful to not crack the flasks neck. And be sure to keep extra flasks for each step in your processing procedures for use when used flasks need to be sent to the ultrasonic washer or autoclave.
