During the incubation phase, the inoculated substrate is placed in a controlled environment to foster optimal mycelial growth and colonization. During the incubation phase, the mycelium spread throughout the substrate forming a robust network that will later give rise to fruiting bodies—the mushrooms themselves. To create and maintain an ideal environment for your mycelium, we offer an array of equipment and supplies. Commercial activated carbon air scrubbers ensure there are as few microorganisms and contaminants circulating in the air as possible. This reduces microbial competition as the mycelium colonizes your substrate. In addition to inline air scrubbers, we offer water sprayers, dehumidifiers, and temperature control equipment to ensure your incubation room remains at the optimal conditions for the species of mushroom you’re cultivating.
